Herbal Medicine for Lyme Disease with Benjamin Weiss
1 PM - 4 PM
SLIDING SCALE OF $30 - $50
Tick-borne Lyme disease is a significant health risk for anyone who regularly spends time outdoors in central Pennsylvania. The disease can cause long-lasting and debilitating health impacts. Nonetheless, this illness can be prevented through simple measures: understanding the disease’s life-cycle & its relationship with deer ticks, by knowing when and how to enter wooded and overgrown areas, and through basic herbal first aid. This awareness is essential to the health of individuals who love the outdoors. Furthermore, treating the disease with herbal medicine has become a preferred option for many Lyme sufferers. The popular "Buhner Protocol" developed by herbalist Stephen Harrod Buhner, is often very effective at eradicating the disease, its symptoms, and health impacts. This workshop will cover ecology of Lyme disease, as well as treatment with herbs.
